If you need full 4k 60fps, go find yourself a SFF computer with a processor that supports Intel UHD Graphics 610. Intel UHD Graphics 600 is great for Full HD (1920x1080) or 2k (2560x1440) 60fps, but the hardware accelerated video decoding can't keep up with 4k 60fps. This is what I personally bought and recommend. These can be had on Amazon for about $150, but frequently you'll see them cheaper used or on a flash deal. The N4000 chipset had the cheapest Mini PCs I could find outside of the x5-Z8350, so bought this and it worked fantastically. Short Version: Frustrated with Raspberry Pi problems and the poor performance of the Intel Atom Z Series, I started looking into the Intel Celeron J / N Series as these appeared to be the cheapest chipsets that actually had Intel UHD Graphics 600 which features better hardware acceleration. The ultimate goal was being able to pack up my Thin Client and controllers, take it with me to any friends or family's house, and have my full game library available. My host server uses Playnite as a front-end for all my emulated games and other Windows games from various store-fronts. The ideal device needed to be able to boot, automatically connect to my Parsec host, and stream consistently 1080p 60fps (more info on 4k later). With that being said, I have a question to add here. This post details my quest to find a good Mini PC for running Parsec and nothing else while not being too expensive. Hey, I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed by outside issues when I last posted so I'm sorry for rushing you, ![]() If you really really want something simple going forward, set your rank files to 'Read-Only' and play the game without unlocking anything. Recovering your rank on any platform is rarely a short simple process - and even less so on a Mac since most apps created for this sort of thing are for Windows OS but you have no other option since you did not backup your files I don't know the exact path for Mac but if you search for a file containing md202ef8d then you should find itFinder did all the work and found the files - all you have to do is highlight and delete them If you have no backupThen you'll have to delete your rank files. I already uninstalled and then reinstalled MW2, but I still have the same issue.ĭo I basically have to delete my MW2 files on Finder at this point? Is there a way that you can give me some simple directions here in order to solve my crashing problem (moments before joining a game before the loading screen)? Yea, I have an iMAC, and I do not believe that I have access to that MW2 Config tool. ![]() There's a link in secton 2 titled: Guide on MW2 settings - it links to a powerpoint presentation, slides 23 - 26 are about MW2 stats backup You can refer to my steam guide which shows 4 methods of backing up your stats: It still kicks me out of the window once I finish the loading screen, and moments before I join the game :( Originally posted by Tetsuya Naito:Okay, the same issue just happened in my private match. I'm not sure what to do now since I guess it's not a server issue (like you said).Ĭan you please help me out with that last question that you asked earlier (since I'm unsure what you mean by taking a backup of stats)? :o Okay, the same issue just happened in my private match. I'm going to test if I can join my own lobby in a private match now. ![]() I'm afraid that a hacker/cheater/mod might have corrupted my game. I remember joining another modded server and stayed there for a while before my game abruptly closed its window. It's likely that a modder or cheater corrupted your game stats file - so after the map loads, it will try to load the stats then the game crashesĭid you take a backup of your stats within the last year that you've been playing?ĬRAP!! I think that's what might have happened to me a few days ago! Try joining a private match - if the same thing happens then that should confirm it's not a *server* issue If your game crashes or closes on it's own, it's normally the result of something that happened on your PC Originally posted by Tetsuya Naito:Yea, please let me know if anybody figures out an answer to me being unable to finish the loading screens without getting kicked out of the game window (moments before I actually join the server), and if this is just a TEMPORARY issue that eventually fixes itself. ![]()
